Finding your next bloom
What am I trying to do in a clearing?
Swap neighboring pieces to match three or more. Make matches on the golden patches to water them. Bloom every patch before your moves run out. Some roots need two drinks; the dots show what remains.
How do I meet more animals?
Maple the fox is your first friend. Complete clearing 5 to welcome Clover the bunny, 10 for Pippin the kitten, 15 for Honey the bear, and 20 for Biscuit the puppy. Choose among your unlocked friends from Home.
How do I earn treats and outfits?
Your first win in each clearing earns two treats. Give an animal five earned treats to unlock its personal look. Clearing milestones also unlock shared outfits. Open Dress up to see what each look needs. Replaying a clearing and petting a friend do not earn more treats.
What can I do when I’m stuck?
Hint highlights an available move. Mix up rearranges the pieces once per attempt. Open WONDERS ? to learn about the abilities you unlock. From clearing 12, watering roots earns dew: collect eight, tap Dew, then choose a patch for a shower. Dew waters a 3×3 area without spending a move.
Can I replay a clearing?
Yes. Open Journey, expand “Explore the whole clearing,” and choose a completed level. Replays can improve your stars; treats are awarded only on your first win. After all 20 clearings, you can keep visiting friends, dressing them, and replaying puzzles.
Keeping your little woodland safe
Where is my progress saved?
On this iPhone. Wildflower saves completed clearings, care, outfits, settings, and the current settled puzzle. If the app closes during an animation, it may resume from the previous settled move. There is no Wildflower account or cloud-save service for moving progress between devices. Apple backups are managed separately through your device settings.
Progress isn’t saving. What should I do?
Tap Retry save. If the warning remains, contact us before deleting or reinstalling the app: deleting the app can remove your local progress. Tell us what you were doing when the warning appeared. Support does not have a server copy of your save.
Does Wildflower need the internet?
Gameplay works offline. You need a connection to download or update the app, visit this website, or send a support email.
Making yourself comfortable
How do I turn off music or change haptics?
Open the gear button for Sound & music, Gentle haptics, and Reduced motion. Each setting is saved separately. Haptic effects depend on device support and system settings. “Meet Maple again” replays the opening without resetting your progress.
Which devices can play?
The iPhone release requires iOS 16 or later. There is no dedicated iPad, Mac, or Apple Vision release. Wildflower is currently preparing for its App Store launch.
Are there ads or in-app purchases?
No. The current game has no advertising or in-app purchases. Treats, companions, and outfits are earned through play.
