Playing Wildflower
Wildflower: Woodland Puzzles is made by Redbark Labs LLC. This policy explains how the game, this website, and support requests handle information. For privacy questions, email contact@redbarklabs.com.
Wildflower works offline. You do not need an account. There is no advertising and no third-party tracking or analytics SDK. We don’t keep your saves on a server.
Your levels, wishes, outfits, decorations, settings and any unfinished puzzle are saved on your iPhone. If you’re signed in to iCloud, your game progress also syncs through your own iCloud account so it’s there on a new device or after reinstalling. Redbark Labs can’t see it, and you can turn it off in iPhone Settings under iCloud.
Daily reminders are off unless you turn them on. They’re scheduled on your iPhone, not sent from a server. The home-screen widget reads your progress from your iPhone only.
Postcards are pictures the game makes on your iPhone. Nothing is shared unless you choose an app in the share sheet. The App Store link in a postcard includes a campaign tag, so App Store Connect can show us how many people installed from each kind of postcard, in total. We don’t learn who shared or opened one.
Anonymous play statistics. If “Share anonymous play stats” is on in Settings (it is on by default, except in Canada), Wildflower sends us anonymous information about how the game is played, such as which levels are started, won or left, which screens are opened and which in-app purchases are attempted, plus basic diagnostics such as whether the game restarted unexpectedly, how much artwork it had loaded and the screen size, so we can fix problems. Each iPhone gets a random identifier made by the app. It isn’t connected to your name, Apple Account, Game Center profile, advertising identifier, contacts or location, and it changes if you reinstall the game or turn the setting off. We don’t store IP addresses. The information is stored with our hosting provider, Cloudflare, used only to improve Wildflower, never sold or used for advertising, and deleted after about 13 months. You can turn it off anytime in Settings.
Purchases & Apple services
Optional in-app purchases (golden leaves, outfits, decorations, the Woodland Pass and the Wildflower Club subscription) are processed by Apple. We never receive your payment details. The game keeps a record of what you own on your iPhone, and in your iCloud copy if sync is on, so it can deliver your items. Restore Purchases asks Apple to confirm them.
Game Center is optional. If you open the leaderboards and sign in, Apple receives your Daily Bloom score and the number of levels you’ve won, along with your Game Center identity, under Apple’s terms. The game shows your Game Center name but doesn’t send it anywhere else.
If you install Wildflower after seeing an ad, Apple’s privacy-preserving ad attribution (SKAdNetwork) may tell that ad network a coarse, anonymous signal of how far you’ve played. It doesn’t identify you or your device.
Apple handles downloading and updating the app. Depending on your device settings, Apple may also process diagnostics or include app data in device backups. A device restore may restore that data. These services are governed by Apple’s privacy policy; Wildflower does not control them.
Visiting this website
This website has no accounts, contact forms, advertising, or analytics scripts. The site itself does not set cookies or use browser storage to track visitors. Fonts and artwork are served with the site rather than loaded from third-party font or social-media services.
This website is hosted on Google’s Firebase Hosting. Firebase Hosting processes visitor IP addresses to detect abuse and provide hosting usage analysis. Google states that Hosting retains IP data for a few months. See Firebase’s privacy and security information. This is separate from Wildflower’s offline gameplay.
When you contact us
If you email us, we receive your email address, message, and any attachments you choose to send. We use this information to respond and investigate your request. Our email provider processes correspondence to deliver and store it. The game does not automatically attach your save data.
Please send only what is needed to describe the problem. You do not need to provide passwords, payment information, or personal details about a child. We do not sell support correspondence or use it for advertising or cross-app tracking.
Retention & deletion
Your game saves stay on your iPhone until you remove them and, if iCloud sync is on, in your iCloud account until you delete them there (iPhone Settings, then your name, then iCloud storage). Deleting the app removes its local data; offloading the app can keep that data. Device backups are separate and may retain or restore app data. We do not keep a server copy that support can restore.
Anonymous play statistics are deleted after about 13 months. Turning off “Share anonymous play stats” stops them and resets the random identifier on your iPhone. Because they aren’t connected to you, we can’t look up one person’s statistics.
We retain support correspondence for as long as needed to answer the request, investigate related issues, and meet applicable recordkeeping requirements. To request deletion of information you sent us, email contact@redbarklabs.com. We will explain if particular information needs to be retained.
Children’s privacy
Wildflower does not request a player’s name, age, email address, or location to play.
If “Share anonymous play stats” is on, the random identifier is used only to run and improve the game: finding bugs and crashes, balancing puzzle difficulty and seeing which features are used. It is never used to contact anyone, to profile a player or for advertising, and it is never shared or sold. In Canada, play stats are off unless a player turns them on.
If you believe a child has sent personal information to support, contact us so we can address the request.
Changes & contact
We will update this page if these practices change. The date above identifies the current policy text.
