Drag a row left or right, or a column up or down, to slide it one spot. Tiles that slide off one edge wrap around to the other. Make your board match the Target card. Every level can be solved, and you can’t run out of moves in normal levels: take as long as you like.

Each level has a par: the fewest moves needed. Solve it to earn a star, near par for two, and close to par for three. Solve in exactly par without using a hint to earn a crown.

Undo takes back your last move and Restart starts over. Hint shows a good next move. You get three free hints every day, plus one for each crown and each boss you beat. If you run out, you can watch an optional video for another, or get unlimited hints with GridShark Plus.

Every tenth level is a boss fight. Each boss has a twist, such as currents, chained rows, or lights out, and matching tiles knocks its health down. Bosses come back tougher later, and a mega boss waits every hundred levels.

Earn three stars on a level to unlock its Shark Challenge: a deeper scramble with a strict move limit. Beat it within the limit to collect a shark tooth. If you run out of moves, you can keep going once with three extra moves by watching an optional video (free with Plus), though a rescued finish doesn’t earn the tooth.

On this iPhone. There is no GridShark account or cloud save, so progress doesn’t move between devices. Deleting the app removes your progress. Apple backups are managed separately through your device settings.

Open Settings in the game and tap Restore purchase. Make sure you’re signed in with the same Apple Account you used to buy Plus.

Puzzles work offline. You need a connection to watch optional videos, buy or restore GridShark Plus, download updates, or visit this website.

On iPhone, go to Settings, Privacy & Security, then Tracking. In Europe, the UK and Switzerland, you can also open the game’s Settings and tap Ad privacy choices.

Yes. Every piece has its own symbol as well as its colour. In Settings, choose your colour vision (red-weak, green-weak, blue-weak, or monochrome) for a palette tuned to it, and turn piece symbols on or off.

Open Settings in the game for Sound, Haptics, Boss music, and Match markers. Each is saved separately.

GridShark is for iPhone and requires iOS 17 or later. GridShark is currently preparing for its App Store launch.
